This may be a good moment to reflect on our purpose and aims:
"As a group of information professionals working in the
visual arts area, we are committed to the dissemination of art information in
its various forms, and also to the exchange of ideas. Co-operation and
collaboration are key to our activities, together with the promotion of our
collections and services." - Kerry Watson, Convenor of SVAG.
At our next meeting on 29th May, at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, we will be sure to celebrate this occasion!
